A Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater safari offers an extraordinary wildlife experience, combining the vast, open plains of the Serengeti, famous for the Great Migration and its dense predator population, with the dramatic, enclosed ecosystem of the Ngorongoro Crater, home to the endangered black rhino and a stable lion population. Both destinations provide exceptional game viewing, diverse landscapes, and cultural insights into Maasai traditions, creating a rich and varied safari experience. The Serengeti’s endless horizons and Ngorongoro’s unique caldera make them two of Africa’s most iconic and visually stunning wildlife areas.

The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see large numbers of giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet. Tarangire is the best place to see these gentle giants in their natural habitat – from the adorable calves all the way up to the intimidating bulls.
